Voor het tentamen van periode 1.2 (dat plaatsvindt op 28-01-21) zijn dit de benodigde aantekeningen voor het onderdeel 'Staatsrecht'. Volgens de docent zouden de hoorcolleges van week 1 en 2 voldoende moeten zijn. Dat zijn deze aantekeningen!

Do the actors in the case have the competence to do what they claim? - Who has the powers of law-making, executing laws, and of exercising judicial tasks? - Considering that the US is a federal state, what does that mean and what does it imply for the powers of the federal government and the individual states? - How are the different branches of government set up, and who elects/nominates them?

May the EU be considered and defined as meeting all conditions of federalism? Is it a state? Do national states still have full budgetary powers; are they in charge/involved in EU law making? Can the EU be considered to be a parliamentary democracy?

SOOOO, I didnt pass my first try exam, so I decided ok let me actually read the book, read the cases and make a summary instead of relying on the lecture slides. My friend and I both contributed to this summary and we both passed with a 7 and 8 :).
